Talking Africa continues its focus on South Africa with a discussion on the future prospects of the country's ruling party, the ANC, on delivering on its promise of "a better life for all" in the face of rising problems of inequality, mass poverty, and unemployment; and failure of the ANC government to address these challenges, particularly to the poor majority indigenous African segment of the society they owe their 'political power' to, and which segment is slowly but steadily losing patience with it; and the ruling ANC slowly but steadily losing its credibility with this segment of South Africa's society.
Guests on the programme are Bobby Peek, director of the Environmental Justice and Development organisation Groundwork, and Khaya Thwala, deputy secretary of the London branch of the ANC.
Hosted by Sonny Decker.
