Tonight: Michael McHugh and Noizechoir’s "The Dream of the Dream Scientist," an audio portrait of the Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research, one of only three centres in the UK dedicated to examining the science of sleep. Faculty director Jason Ellis takes the listener through what it means to be asleep and discuss what is happening to our bodies when we dream. Biomedical data captured during Jason’s study has been re-interpreted by the Noizechoir to create graphical scores. Commission funded by Arts Council England and Kent County Council.
